Raptors Report Week 18: Toronto on Brink of Being Knocked out of Playoff Spot
Chris Bosh couldn't have come back at a better time. The Raptors are only two games away from being knocked out of a playoff spot, and have been bumped down to 6th by the Milwaukee Bucks. Wow.
The Raptors had another bad week, getting destroyed by the Rockets, beating the lowly Knicks, before dropping one at home to the 76ers.
Hedo Turkoglu didn't play in the game against the 76ers, and this could mean more trouble for a Raptors team that desperately needs some wins.
Record This Week: 1-2
Performance on a Scale of 1-10: 5.5
Positives
Chris Bosh is finally back, and Reggie Evans has provided a huge spark off of the bench. Sonny Weems has been great and Jose Calderon is finally starting to find his shooting touch, and that's about it for the positives this week.
Negatives
Hoo boy, here we go. Hedo Turkoglu is injured, Andrea Bargnani is struggling. But they are only parts of the equation here. The Raptors have seemed to have lost their chemistry and flow lately, and can't seem to get it going offensively. Defensively, they are letting teams go right around them and are looking like the old Raptors.
Overall, the Raptors didn't play to their potential at all this week.
If this team wants to secure that 5th spot, they have to gain back their toughness, get everybody healthy, and start to win some games.
Hopefully they can step it up this week and grab some wins.
GO RAPS!
