Well people. I must confess…I have a serious shoe fetish!

I had to admit it.

You’ll see me a lot of the time on a ton of shoe sites, whether it’sPickYourShoesNikeLeBronNiceKicks or plenty of others.

I know that a lot of you out there share my thirst for the latest, greatest, and highest performing basketball kicks to date.  Then there are those of you who just want your feet to look good. So I won’t limit myself to strictly one type of shoe.

I decided to break things down to two groups: Fashion and Performance.

So now, I’ve decided to break out a new segment for all you NBA/Sneaker fans.

Welcome to my first, and brand new segment of Devon’s NBA Kick of the Week!

Well folks, what a great way to start off my series, with a $700 shoe! I know, I know. About 75-80% of you have already either dropped your jaw, or decided this article is simply for eye-candy, and if it is for eye-candy, just consider me your candy man! (I know…corny)

Now, wondering what shoe I’m talking about? (Unless you’ve read the title). Well let me introduce to you one of Nike’s greatest basketball engineered shoes of all-time, theNike Hyperdunk.

Yes, the Nike Hyperdunk has surpassed the limits of many when it comes to basketball shoes. The game started with Converse cotton shoes. You know, the old-school Chuck-T’s? Well, yes. Those used to be basketball shoes. In fact, they were the game’s first ever (worn by Larry Bird and Magic themselves).

Now as the years passed, technology transcended the limits, new materials have been discovered, and humans have become more and more resourcefully-efficient.

The Nike Hyperdunk was the lightest basketball shoe ever (until this year’s Zoom Kobe V). With the perfect mesh of Nike’s Flywire technology, lunar foam, and plenty of other incredible assets, Nike has made a basketball engineered masterpiece . As few know, the Hyperdunk was originally meant to be for Kobe himself, but things changed and the shoe is now “inspired by Kobe Bryant.”

Well now that you know the general Hyperdunk info, I present to you a very, VERY limited editon Hyperdunk.
