Fantasy Basketball Box Score Breakouts – March 1

Here’s a look at some fantasy basketball players that blew up the box score last night.

Matt Barnes, Orlando Magic
Barnes had 16 points against the Sixers on 6-7 shooting. He’s been quiet of late so only use him in daily leagues.

Jrue Holiday, Philadelphia 76ers
Holiday had 23 points and 6 assists for Philly. He’s averaging 13.3 points and 4.3 assists in his past four games.

Bill Walker, New York Knicks
Walker had 21 points against the Cavs. He got extended run because the Cavs destroyed the Knicks. Pay him no mind.

Anderson Varejao and J.J. Hickson, Cleveland Cavaliers
With Shaq out, look for both of these guys to finish strong. Varejao had 14 points and 10 rebounds. Hickson had 17 & 9.

Marcus Thornton, New Orleans Hornests
Dude is on fire. He dropped 30 against the Spurs.

Taj Gibson, Chicago Bulls
He was held to 11 points, but made his owners more than happy with the 13 boards.

Brad Miller, Chicago Bulls
Miller had 15 points and 7 rebounds. He has value in games that Joakim Noah misses.

Nicolas Batum, Portland Trail Blazers
Batum followed up his 31 point game with 21 more. Monitor him closely.

Marcus Banks, Toronto Raptors
Banks had 15 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals. The game came out of nowhere.

David Andersen, Houston Rockets
Andersen had 16 points. He’s not productive enough to concern yourself with.

Grant Hill, Phoenix Suns
Hill had 19 points and 8 rebounds against the Nuggets. Hill should be owned in most leagues.

Channing Fyre, Phoenix Suns
Fyre had 16 points. Deciding between Frye and Robin Lopez makes my head hurt. They are both capable of having big games, but can both lay and egg. This time Frye delivered.

Kyle Kover, Utah Jazz
Korver had 16 points against the Clippers. You can use him in daily leagues in a pinch, but he has little value.
