Tim Tebow...Jump On The Bandwagon

Ok, Ok, the National Football League scouts don't think Tim Tebow of Florida isn't a great prospect to be an NFL quarterback.

These are the same guys who thought highly of some of the top draft picks, many of which were quarterbacks.

Look at this list, many of which were "can't miss" prospects. As recent as 2007, JaMarcus Russell of Oakland, Alex Smith (2005, San Francisco), David Carr (2002, Houston), Tim Couch (1999, Cleveland), KiJana Cater (1995, Cincinnati), Steve Emtman (1992, Indianapolis), Tom Cousineau (1979, Buffalo but signed with Montreal of the CFL) and Ricky Bell (1977, Tampa Bay).

These are the probably the same scouts still around who are putting down Tim Tebow.

A Heisman Trophy winner, Tebow has the qualities that can turn the NFL upside down. He can run the ball, isn't "that bad" of thrower and his so-called poor release can be adjusted.

But he's got qualities that are lacking in Buffalo. Leadership, the thirst for winning and a model citizen.

No, the ninth pick overall isn't worth it on him, but if he's available in the second, third or fourth round, jump on him. Can't be any worse that the great group of quarterbacks we have now in Trent Edwards, Brian Brohm and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Why not bring Gibran Hamdan back and throw him in the mix.

The intangibles Tebow possesses makes him an intriguing player. You know he's gonna keep his mouth shut, learn what is taught him and willkeep his nose clean.

Winning games is what the National Football League is all about. Why not Tebow who is a constant winner in college but not a proven quarterback at the next level.

We need someone on the Bills team that people can rally around, and could possibly be a savior. Tebow could be that man.

Jimmy Clausen isn't going to be around by the ninth pick and Sam Bradford will be gone as well. But Clausen wasn't a big-time winner like Tebow or Bradford. The drawback for Bradford is the bum shoulder.

Tebow in Buffalo makes sense. When the weather get bad and throwing the ball is impossible, what a great weapon to have under center in Tebow.

In fact, make in more intriguing and bring in Micheal Vick. What a scary tandum that would be along with Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch.

I know, I know, too many question marks on Tebow and we have pressing issues on the offense. But if he's available from the second round or beyond. Go for it. We've got nothing else to lose.

But listening to National Football League scouts is like trying to read a poker player's face. They aren't going to tip their hand so if they don't think he's going to pan out, don't believe it.
