NY Baseball Live Recap with Joe Boesch
As many of you know, I was on the NY Baseball Live radio show with Joe Boesch on Sunday night. For those of you who are not familiar with the show, it’s a program on WGBB 1240 AM in New York that focuses just on baseball.
I was on with Joe for about 20 minutes, and we talked about a wide variety of topics.
Here is a recap of the show

We talked about Johnny Damon signing with the Detroit Tigers and what it means for Detroit.
I gave my opinion on what teams had a good offseason, and who are the teams to beat in 2010.
Joe and I talked about Mark McGwire and whether or not we felt his apology was sincere.
He was asked who I thought was the best player in the game. I gave two players on that question: One player wouldn’t surprise you, the other player might.
How talking about blogging has affected the publishing industry.
I also gave an early World Series prediction.
Overall, I thought it was a pretty good segment, and we had a lot of fun doing it.

On a side note, what was interesting about the show was that I went on with about 10 minutes to go in the USA vs. Canada Olympic hockey game. I had to pause the game so I wouldn’t be distracted.
What a great game!
That was a 15 out of 10 on the Off The Charts scale. Ryan Miller was the man on Sunday.
Sunday night is what the NHL would look like if they got rid of about six teams and consolidated the talent.
The average fan that watches Olympic hockey is amazed and interested. Then they turn on a game between two garbage franchises like the Columbus Blue Jackets vs. the Nashville Predators, and they're extremely disappointed.
That’s why the NHL never gains any momentum from these games. Just my little rant on the NHL.
