Could It Get Any Worse? Leafs Troubles Against Ottawa Continue
The Toronto Maple Leafs lost to the Ottawa Senators last night for the third time already this year in a 5-1 decision.
The Leafs played this game like they didn't even expect to come close. They have now been outscored 12-6 in their three games against the Sens this year.
Vesa Toskala was pulled after allowing four goals on 13 shots after just under half the game. Andrew Raycroft stepped in and stopped seven of eight shots that he faced in relief.

Draft Lottery Winners and Losers
The Leafs actually outshot the Sens 31-21 in this contest, but Martin Gerber was fantastic yet again, allowing only one goal against on those 31 shots.
The Ottawa Senators opened the scoring with a goal from Chris Phillips, sneaking in from the point before putting it upstairs past Toskala. 47 seconds later, Patrick Eaves found the back of the Leafs net on a Sens 2 on 1.
Then, just 1:21 into the second, Daniel Alfredsson potted his 10th goal of the year with a short-handed marker.
Andrej Meszaros' wrister from the point beat Toskala just 6:47 later, and the netminder was hooked with the score 4-0.
Nik Antropov attempted to spark his club with a goal with about six minutes left in the period on the powerplay, but to no avail, as Chris Kelly scored to make it 5-1 and cap off the the night.
After the disappointing loss, the Leafs' next game comes when they travel to Buffalo to face the struggling Sabres on Friday.
