Where Will Chien-Ming Wang Land in 2010?
According to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports, former Yankees pitcher Chien-Ming Wang has recieved offers from at least two teams and could sign a contract within seven to 10 days.
Rosenthal did not identify which two teams had made offers, but heard from sources that it wasn’t the Dodgers or the Mets, who have both shown recent interest in Wang. Rosenthal notes that the Orioles, Rays, and Blue Jays could possibly be among the teams who offered him a contract.
We’ve also heard from Bill Ladson of MLB.com, who said that the Nationals are “aggressively pursuing” the free agent righty coming off shoulder surgery. He labeled the Nationals “finalists” to sign him, but did not confirm they had offered him a contract already.

A few teams have been said to have already given Wang a physical. He is working his way back from surgery and isn’t expected to return for about three months. Currently he is throwing three times per week at 120 feet on flat ground and has no time table for when he will return to a mound.
