2010 Yankees Payroll
So I’ve done this a couple of times in the past (click here for the most recent ), but I decided to change up the style I used to do it in. Most specifically, I’ve left out the young players that have yet to sign contracts for 2010. In the past I just estimated what they were going to be paid, but essentially there is no real negotiations involved, the Yankees pay them whatever they want based on service time, so what they end up with is really just a wild guess.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
That’s 18 players making just over $200 million. The players who don’t have contracts yet are Joba Chamberlain, Phil Hughes, David Robertson, Alfredo Aceves, Francisco Cervelli, Ramiro Pena, Brett Gardner, and Jamie Hoffmann. Like I said before, the Yankees pretty much pay them whatever they want, but it is based on playing time. So expect Joba and Hughes, who have played the most out of everyone on that list, to make the most money while Cervelli, Pena, Gardner, and Hoffmann will either make the league minimum or just barely over.
