Lost Conversations From the MLB Winter Meetings

scott-borasAided by the emergence of Twitter and aggregation sites such as MLBTradeRumors.com, the annual tradition that is the MLB Winter Meetings has become a blizzard of information and rumors.  Everywhere you look there are published reports of another trade that is “in the works”, a free agent signing is close, or that Scott Boras is still trying to convince himself that Matt Holliday is getting Mark Teixiera money.  It’s baseball action without a single pitch being thrown. 

But even with reporters crawling over one another to get scoops, it’s still inevitable that some conversations between agents and GMs slip through the cracks and don’t trickle down to the public.  For that we have JSF, here to report on the things overhead at the MLB Winter Meetings…
