Week 14 NFL Power Rankings: Thomas Moreland Gives You All The Reasons
They simply stole a game and remained shakily atop the power rankings standings at 12-0. Remember, Indianapolis has had two or three close calls itself as well, so we will let this one slide. If Atlanta beats you next week, all bets are off.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Indy's been steadier the last couple of games. Let the undefeated race continue! This is like McGwire and Sosa again. Hooray for 12-0s.
Win or lose in Arizona, the Vikings will be a huge force to deal with in the playoffs. As teams clinch, they may relax a bit, or rest key guys. No injuries in meaningless games are also a concern.
At 9-3, and have a big game against the Vikings. Ha! This would be a Super Bowl preview, if not for this guy named Peyton or another guy named Rivers.
Oh, look, Carson Palmer, Phillip Rivers is right behind in the fifth spot with his Chargers all revved up at 9-3 as well. We were all wondering about San Diego in the first five games, and all of a sudden we are not wondering anymore. These guys are good.
The Eagles are playing well. 8-4 and an upcoming game in New Jersey with the Giants. They have to win this home game to remain a strong sixth-ranked squad.
The Cowboys lost a good game to the Giants. If this was a quarterback ranking, Dallas would be much lower. I will leave it at that, as this is a whole team ranking.
The Broncos, who will likely drop down a notch next week in Indianapolis, slide into the No. 8 spot. Can Denver go on the road, and beat Peyton Manning? I seriously doubt it.
The Pats dropped to ninth, but have some wins coming. It's a long season, and the Patriots will ultimately win this division.
10. Arizona Cardinals
Arizona's 7-5 and in the driver's seat for that weak division still. The playoffs are coming and can Warner and Fitzgerald get hot once more? You never know.
11. New York Giants
The Giants beat Dallas, and with one more win against the Eagles they are in the limelight and a Top 10 team once more.
Jacksonville is playing good ball and will be awarded a 12th ranking this week. Beat the Dolphins next week and the Jags will keep their spot.
13. Green Bay Packers
The Packers must keep winning to hold this position. A key game beating Baltimore will move them up ahead of the Jags and perhaps the Cardinals as well.
14. Baltimore Ravens
Green Bay's Monday night opponent, the Ravens, are at No. 14 and could benefit from a win at Lambeau. That's easier said than done, unless your name is Brett Favre.
15. Miami Dolphins
At 6-6, with a huge win over New England, the Dolphins needs to keep it going against the Jags. They could beat Jacksonville and get into the playoff hunt.
16. Atlanta Falcons
Also at 6-6 are the faltering Falcons. They are the inside looking out, as far as the playoffs are concerned and it's the second-year jinx for Matt Ryan this season.
17. New York Jets
The Jets are hanging in there at No. 17 in a group of 6-6 teams. One team out of all these, might make the playoffs.
18. Houston Texans
Houston has fallen all the way down to No. 18 and are probably not going to the playoffs as they never had before. Maybe a coaching change is in order here at 5-7 and falling.
The Steelers are falling like a rock along with the Texans and have knocked themselves out of the playoffs by losing to the Raiders. No. 19 to the Steelers. Win two in a row and maybe move up.
The Forty-Niners are not quite ready for prime time yet, and are at No. 20.
With a win over the Bucs, Carolina's risen to No. 21 and could actually move up some more if some teams that wear yellow and black don't get their act together.
22. Tennessee Titans
The Titans have some more wins coming and could possibly move up with the Rams next on the schedule. 5-7 isn't bad, considering the six losses to start 2009.
23. Oakland Raiders
The Raiders took a huge jump and are now ranked No. 23, with a win against the Steelers. The change in quarterback was key in salvaging the season and hope for the future.
24. Chicago Bears
The Bears are in the 24th spot, but the Raiders could beat them.
Washington, after giving New Orleans a fright, moved up also and is ranked No. 25.
Kansas City is showing improvement and is at No 26. They should beat Buffalo at home in Week 14.
27. Buffalo Bills
They try hard, but just not enough big play kind of guys.
28. Seattle Seahawks
Seattle is the best of the bad teams and deserves a No. 28 ranking.
29. Detroit Lions
Detroit hangs onto No. 29 with two big wins in 2009.
Tampa, because of improvement and close games are a little better team than the Rams, warrants No. 30.
31. St. Louis Rams
The Rams have only managed to win a game this season. Enough said.
32. Cleveland Browns
The worst team in football.
