Steelers Band Wagon Is Leaving the Station: If You Want Off, Get Off!
There are two types of Steelers fans. Those that are the REAL fans, and those that are the bandwagon hoppers.
Those that are the real fans, are some times unrealistic. They believe that the Steelers are un-beatable. They believe that no team can even compete with them. They believe that position by position, there is not a team in the NFL that can even come close to matching them. And if the Steelers lose, well, it was someone else's fault.
These ARE real fans, because of dedication, and blind love, the Steelers are the only team. Love them or hate them, they are the real deal.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Then there are those other real fans, that can look at the negative, and turn it into a positive.
We (and I include myself in this category) can see that there are negatives with the Steelers three game losing streak, but can also see the silver lining in the clouds. We see the potential of the team, and know that we still have a chance to make the playoffs.
It was hard watching the game Sunday night against the Ravens. The Steelers lost, plain and simple. There are no excuses.
Troy Polamalu wasn't playing. So what?
Ben Roethlisberger was injured, back up Charlie Batch was too? Who cares!
Chris Kemoeatu not playing hurt the line. Big deal!
The fact is, every team in the NFL has injuries that they have to deal with, and a team is only as strong as it's weakest link.
Then there are the bandwagon hoppers. Those that were quick at the beginning of the season to say how great the Steelers were, and were getting ready for their second run to the Super Bowl. Now that the bumps in the road are shaking the bandwagon, many of those hoppers are falling off.
The Steelers now sit 6-5, and in the midst of a battle for the wild card spots. All of you bandwagon hoppers, now is your chance. You don't want to be a Steelers fan when the chips are down? We don't need you!
I can make exceptions for kids, but even my eight year old daughter said that we would lose playing without Polamalu and Roethlisberger.
But it is those of you that insist in taking joy in the fact the Steelers are down right now. And this article is dedicated to you.
Instead of going after specific people in this article, which is what I started doing, I am going to back off of that approach. All I will say is, if you are someone that calls themselves a Steeler fan, regardless of your belief that the season may be over, stop delighting on that fact.
If you think this season is over, that is your opinion, and that is all it is, an opinion. The Steelers showed four years ago when they won Super Bowl XL, that we can win, as long as we make the playoffs, and that is where this team is headed.
If you want off the bandwagon, hop off now! Again, the Steelers don't need you.
