Moving Today's Market

While Game 3 of the NBA Finals was far from a thing of beauty, the best team—the Lakers—emerged victorious, riding on the wings of league MVP Kobe "Momba" Bryant, and his Eastern European sidekick, Sasha Shootervic. Lost in translation was Spaniard Pau Gasol, who had almost no gasol in his tank, and Lamar Makes a Dunk Once in a Blue Moon Odom. If either of those two guys can  step up tonight, the boys in four leaf clover won't be feeling so rosy.

Bookmakers opened this one at Lakers –8, and the Purple and Gold have found public support. The line currently stands at Lakers –7.5

Despite the Orioles playing at Fenway, a notoriously tough place to win, they've been on the receiving end of four Smart Money moves today, including the most recent move which was triggered at Cris—a high percentage Smart Money book. Orioles hurler Jeremy Guthrie has been hot of late, while the Bosox' John Lester is erratic. But it's always a tough order for any pitcher to emerge unscathed against the ultra-potent Red Sox line-up.
