Highlights from the Cart Cam at Capital One's The Match

Paul KasabianNov 27, 2020

Phil Mickelson and Charles Barkley gained the upper hand on the front nine against Stephen Curry and Peyton Manning and eventually won 4-and-3 at Capital One's "The Match: Champions for Change" on Friday.

Mickelson and Barkley won the second through fifth holes en route to the convincing victory, which saw the duo lead by three or more from No. 5 onward.

There were plenty of highlights in the early going, and the Cart Cam provided much entertainment between shots.

Naturally, Barkley was at the forefront to start:

After Chuck gave Curry and Manning a gimme, Curry joked about the tough reputation of the NBA in the ’80s and ’90s.

Then Eli Manning, who served as a commentator, went 5-for-5 on his challenge holes to raise $50,000 for HBCUs.

Overall, $5.4 million was raised for HBCUs on the day, in addition to WarnerMedia's contributions to Feeding America.
