Joe Burrow, Chase Young Highlight Mel Kiper's Favorite 2020 NFL Draft Prospects
ESPN NFL draft expert Mel Kiper Jr. named his favorite player at every position in the 2020 NFL draft Friday.
Not surprisingly, likely No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow of LSU was Kiper's selection at quarterback. Potential No. 2 overall pick Chase Young of Ohio State was his choice for edge-rusher.
The 2020 NFL draft is set to run April 23-25, but it will be a unique event taking place virtually after the coronavirus pandemic forced the league to cancel its plans to host the event in Las Vegas.

2025 Draft Picks Ready For Leap 🐸

Jaguars' Hypothetical Alvin Kamara Trade Offer
After winning the Heisman Trophy and leading LSU to a national championship last season, Burrow is widely expected to go No. 1 overall in the draft to the Cincinnati Bengals as the replacement for veteran Andy Dalton.
Burrow enjoyed a historically good 2019 season in LSU's high-octane offense, as he completed 76.3 percent of his passes for 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns and six interceptions, while also rushing for 368 yards and five scores.
If Burrow's remarkable play at the college level carries over to the NFL, the Bengals have a chance to go from being the worst team in the league to a factor in the AFC North in the near future.
Provided Burrow goes first to Cincinnati, Young would be the odds-on favorite to go No. 2 overall to the Washington Redskins.
The Redskins don't necessarily have a huge need on their defensive front with Ryan Kerrigan, Montez Sweat, Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen already in place, but Young is a special talent who would be tough for defensive-minded head coach Ron Rivera to pass up.
Young led the nation with 16.5 sacks last season, while adding 21 tackles for loss and seven forced fumbles. Much like Nick Bosa did for the San Francisco 49ers as the No. 2 overall pick last season, Young could be an instant impact player for a Redskins team with a chance to surprise in 2020.
Aside from Burrow and Young, some of Kiper's notable picks for his favorite player at each position include Clemson's Isaiah Simmons at linebacker, Ohio State's J.K. Dobbins at running back and Minnesota's Antoine Winfield Jr. at safety.
Kiper also had some surprising selections, including USC's Michael Pittman Jr. at wide receiver. While Pittman registered 101 catches for 1,275 yards and 11 touchdowns last season, he is part of a stacked wide receiver class along with Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs of Alabama, Oklahoma's CeeDee Lamb, Clemson's Tee Higgins, Colorado's Laviska Shenault Jr., Baylor's Denzel Mims, LSU's Justin Jefferson and many others.
Additionally, Kiper picked Ohio State's Damon Arnette as his top cornerback despite the fact that Arnette is widely expected to go on Day 2 of the draft. Arnette's OSU teammate, Jeff Okudah, is likely to be the first cornerback off the board, while Florida's C.J. Henderson, Alabama's Trevon Diggs and Utah's Jaylon Johnson are among those who could follow.
Kiper's other choices included Dayton's Adam Trautman at tight end, Michigan's Cesar Ruiz at center and Texas A&M's Justin Madubuike at defensive tackle.
