Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Seth Rollins, More Stars Reveal Their WWE Mount Rushmore
Greatness is often subjective, and that was never truer than when WWE had some of its biggest stars provide their personal Mount Rushmore for the promotion.
Seth Rollins, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, The Miz, AJ Styles and Shayna Baszler were among those who chimed in.
Here's a list of the responses:
Seth Rollins: The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Vince McMahon
Charlotte Flair: Andrade, Charlotte Flair, Kurt Angle, Ric Flair
Liv Morgan: Liv Morgan, Mickie James, Vince McMahon, Shawn Michaels
Luke Gallows: AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, The Rock
Becky Lynch: Brock Lesnar, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, John Cena (Superstars); Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Kurt Angle (Pure Wrestlers)
Sarah Schreiber: Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, The Undertaker
Jason Jordan: Kurt Angle, Mr. Perfect, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Eddie Guerrero
Shayna Baszler: Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Bruno Sammartino, Stone Cold Steve Austin
The Miz: The Miz, Maryse, Monroe Mizanin, Madison Mizanin
Karl Anderson: AJ Styles, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Asuka
Lynch might have had the best approach.
One can point to Michael Jordan's stats, accolades and championships when arguing he's the greatest basketball player ever. Professional wrestling doesn't have the same kind of tangible metrics to gauge somebody's legendary status.
Stone Cold Steve Austin is unquestionably one of the biggest stars ever, but he wasn't technically the best in the ring, especially after his neck injury in 1997. Likewise, the WWF exploded in the 1980s thanks in large part to Hulk Hogan, yet Hogan was far from a great wrestler.
Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels were arguably the two best in-ring workers of their generation, but they didn't enjoy as much commercial success.
It's impossible to argue Hart and Michaels were any more or less great than Austin or Hogan.
There will never be universal agreement on the Mount Rushmore of anything, and framing the exercise around WWE will bring myriad responses.
