Recently (read: always), we’ve been extremely fascinated with the psyche of the everyday sports fan. What makes a seemingly normal man tick inside the boundaries of a sporting event? These are the questions we are committed to answer. Well, maybe not “answer”. We’re determined to mock them. That’s our promise to you.
One year ago today, we spotted one such oddity on television, in the upper rafters, at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park – waiting out a tense World Series game between the Phillies and Rays.

Your team loses the lead, and you’re just a creepy old dude in a $250 animal costume whose taking up too much room in your terrace row. Find some room against the railing, prick.
Such is life in the world of sports fans. And we love every second of it.
