A Super Bowl in London? Huge Mistake!

I Think a Super Bowl in London would be a collosal mistake.  Excuse me, this is our game.  The USA is the home of the best sports game in the history of the world.  Why the heck would we want to ship it accross the pond.

Better question, why would we give London an NFL franchise.  Are you kidding me?  Just think what that would do for the players, jet lag etc.  The New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers landed last night to play their game for week 7.

Tour operators said that sales were not so great:

Would the league consider hosting a Super Bowl in London?  Not unless there is a franchise in place there first, Goodell said today (via NFL spokesman Greg Aiello’s Twitter account).

The AP report that Goodell said placing a Super Bowl in London “is not something that is under active consideration”.
