Adam Jones Buys Cal Ripken Jr.'s Maryland Estate for $12.5 Million
Cal Ripken Jr. and Adam Jones now have more in common than just being Baltimore Orioles.
According to The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal, Jones recently dropped $12.5 million on a 25-acre estate in Reisterstown, Maryland. The former owner? None other than Ripken himself.
From one Orioles legend to the current face of the franchise.
TMZ Sports reported that the house features six bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, a theater, an indoor basketball court, a gym and a pool. Not only that, but the property features a baseball field and a fishing pond.
Fans may not want to read too much into this transaction in regard to the center fielder's future in Baltimore. CBS Baltimore reported that Jones is a real-estate enthusiast who buys and sells property in different cities.
