7 Must-Add Entrants for WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Matches
The process of deciding who will create the chaos at WWE Money in the Bank has begun.
Braun Strowman, The Miz, Finn Balor and Rusev have all battled their way into the men's ladder match. Charlotte Flair and Ember Moon have their spots secured in the women's bout.
Who else should join them in the chase for a contract-filled briefcase at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in Chicago on June 17?
Two babyfaces in need of a spark are among the best options to round out the women's match field. The men's contest already has a big bruiser signed up, but a pair of slugfest artists from SmackDown should be invited to the party, too.
The following is a look at the best fits for the men's and women's ladder matches. These potential entrants entering the fray would help WWE advance storylines, elevate Superstars and better the action in general.
Andrade "Cien" Almas
1 of 7With Zelina Vega at his side, Andrade "Cien" Almas is set to invade SmackDown and transfer one of NXT's hottest acts to the main roster.
A dominant win in a Money in the Bank qualifier and an impressive showing at the PPV would be quite the way to kick things for Almas. Much like how NXT introduced its fanbase to Ethan Carter III at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans in a ladder match, a similar strategy would work here.
Almas would be able to lay out big names like Balor and The Miz, giving him some eye-opening moments from the get-go.
Vega is sure to get involved, perhaps doling out a hurricanrana on to a ladder. She would add a welcome layer to the action and help Almas get some early heat in a hurry.
His high-flying offense would be a good fit for the ladder match environment, too.
Asuka

The women's Money in the Bank ladder match isn't going to feel complete without Asuka.
The Empress of Tomorrow is one of the women's division's biggest stars and one of WWE's top performers. She's an ass-kicking machine who would be right at home in the chaos of a ladder match.
From a storyline perspective, she has to be plenty hungry to get back into the championship picture after her loss to Flair at WrestleMania.
An angry, focused Asuka tearing through the Money in the Bank ladder match field will be a thing to behold. The fact that Flair, the woman who ended her undefeated streak, will be within striking distance will add to the fun. The same goes for Asuka crossing paths with her old NXT rival Ember Moon once more.
Bayley

The Money in the Bank ladder match would be the perfect means to escalate Bayley's simmering feud with Sasha Banks.
Banks didn't make the cut as she fell to Moon in a qualifying match on Monday's Raw. The sting of that defeat and her ongoing animosity with Bayley should lead to The Boss costing Bayley the win at Money in the Bank. Bayley reaching out for the briefcase before her former best friend shoves her off a ladder and breaks her heart would be a moment to remember.
And Bayley needs a boost of some kind. She's been spinning her wheels of late.
She's an engaging babyface we need to see gutting it out in big bouts, which is exactly what should await her on June 17.
Becky Lynch
4 of 7Becky Lynch's situation is a lot like Bayley's. She's a popular, talented star WWE has done too little with recently.
A strong performance (and maybe even a win) in the Money in the Bank ladder match would help Lynch snag some needed momentum.
Her partnership with Flair would be an intriguing element, as well. Lynch and The Queen could work together in the match for a stretch before tension between them starts to bubble over. This would be a smart place to have The Irish Lass Kicker turn heel as she has proved she will do anything to win—backstabbing Flair included.
Lynch would also add star power, something that will be needed if WWE adds less established talent to the mix like Mandy Rose.
Big E

Whether Big E grabs the Money in the Bank briefcase or not, the upcoming ladder match is an ideal way to kickstart his singles push.
The New Day has been terrific as a trio. Big E, though, continues to show that he's a headliner in the making. WWE is going to want to showcase him as a solo act more often before long.
That should begin at Money in the Bank.
The New Day and The Bar are set to battle next week, and the winning team will choose one member to enter the men's ladder match. From a kayfabe standpoint, The New Day choosing its biggest, strongest member makes sense.
That would allow Big E to add to his resume outside of a New Day context when he suplexes folks into ladders and tears it up in Chicago.
Bobby Lashley
6 of 7Bobby Lashley hasn't done much of anything since rejoining WWE last month.
WWE hasn't seemed to know what to do with him. He hasn't feuded with anyone. He hasn't had much of a chance to show off how much he's improved since his last WWE run.
Money in the Bank can change that.
For one, Lashley battling for the briefcase while midcarders like Bobby Roode are forced to watch from backstage sends a message about whether The Dominator sits on the food chain. The Universal Championship hunt is a fitting spot for him.
WWE will also have some good narrative options when Lashley enters the fray. He and Strowman's alliance and Lashley's previous failures in Money in the Bank bouts are angles waiting to be exploited.
Samoa Joe
7 of 7Samoa Joe's relentless pursuit of the world title has to be a priority. Few of WWE's predators have been as enthralling as Joe. Each time he charges toward championship contention, it creates the type of electricity the company covets.
After falling to Roman Reigns, The Destroyer should be furious and unhinged. He should leave ruin in his wake in the Money in the Bank ladder match.
He's a good choice as a winner, as well, if WWE plans on crowning Reigns. Joe stalking The Big Dog with the briefcase in hand would make for excellent TV.
Joe's past issues with both Strowman and Balor will make the bout more interesting, too. There's a chance the men's match will be hoss heavy with the likes of Strowman, Big E and Lashley all potentially in the mix. Joe throwing haymakers with that group would be quite the entertaining sight.
