Matt Harvey Trade Rumors: Rangers Have 'Mild Interest' in Mets Pitcher

The New York Mets may find a trade partner for Matt Harvey after all.

Jon Morosi of MLB Network reported the Texas Rangers have "mild interest" in acquiring the former All-Star, who was designated for assignment by the Mets last week. 

Harvey, 29, refused a minor league assignment when asked by the Mets, leading to his DFA. He went 0-2 with a 7.00 ERA and 1.56 WHIP in four starts before being removed from the rotation.
