Yoenis Cespedes' Chain Breaks, Scatters Diamonds over Infield in Braves vs. Mets

New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes adds plenty of flash to the baseball diamond with his spectacular plays and hitting ability, but he provided a different kind of flash during Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Braves.

As Sporting News shared, Cespedes' chain broke as he was legging out a double in the first inning of the contest, leaving diamonds strewn across the field:

While he lost some of his jewelry, he can at least take solace knowing he continued his hot streak against the Braves with the double after tallying three hits—one of which was a home run—in Tuesday's matchup.
