Oregon State Beavers-USC Trojans: Football Picks

The USC Trojans have already lost their yearly game to a team that they should beat this season. However, that doesn’t mean that the Oregon State Beavers don’t want to deal them another loss on the year.

The Beavers have beaten them twice in the last three years. Therefore, they somewhat have the Trojans' number as of late.

However, the Trojans come in with a 5-1 record this season and seem to have things under control lately.

They beat a good Notre Dame team last weekend on a last-second goal line stand. As far as Free College Football Picks go, this team has a lot of talent on both sides of the ball and should be more than the Beavers can handle if they play well.

However, the Trojans are notorious to playing down to the competition, so you never know what will happen.

The Beavers come into the game as underdogs, but they are no slouches.

They boast a 4-2 record and have one of the best running backs in the country. Jacquizz Rodgers almost single-handedly beat the Trojans last year with 186 yards and two touchdowns.

This season, he is the second-ranked running back in the Pac-10 with over 116 yards per game. He also is second in the country with 13 rushing touchdowns.

He definitely has a nose for the end zone and the Trojans will have to put an emphasis on slowing him down if they are going to be successful. Last year, they could not tackle him and Rodgers went on to have a career day against them.

For the Trojans, quarterback Matt Barkley will need to have a good game if he hopes to lead the Trojans past the Beavers.

He has played well in his last few games and looked to be on a roll against Notre Dame last week. The Beavers will definitely have their hands full in this game.
