WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon attended wrestling legend Bruno Sammartino's funeral Monday in Ross Township, Pennsylvania.

As seen in the following video courtesy of WTAE-TV Pittsburgh, McMahon was there with his daughter, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon:

Sammartino died April 18 at the age of 82. According to the Associated Press (h/t WTAE.com), Sammartino had been hospitalized for two months prior to his death.

The Italy-born legend was WWE's preeminent star in the 1960s and 1970s, as he held the company's world title on two occasions for more than 4,000 days.

His longest reign lasted from 1963 until 1971.

Sammartino was the equivalent of Hulk Hogan, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Rock or John Cena during his era.

WWE recognized his accomplishments in 2013 when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
