Mookie Betts entered the day with two home runs but topped that number in just one game against the Los Angeles Angels.
The Boston Red Sox star hit three homers Tuesday at Angel Stadium, tying Ted Williams for the franchise record of three career three-home run games, per MLB Stat of the Day.

Betts followed it up with solo shots in the third and eighth innings against Luke Bard and Cam Bedrosian, respectively.
The 25-year-old had his first two three-homer games in 2016 and once again showed that he is among the most dangerous players in the majors. After earning All-Star appearances in each of the last two seasons, he already looks on his way to another one in 2018.
