John Cena Tweets on Hardship, Loss After Breakup with Nikki Bella

John Cena, presumably alluding to his breakup with Nikki Bella, sent out a tweet Monday discussing "perseverance" through "hardship" and "loss."

"Hardship, loss, and humility are extremely difficult waters to navigate, but perseverance thru them builds a strength to withstand anything life throws your way," Cena tweeted. 

Cena and Bella announced the end of their engagement and six-year relationship in a statement to Us Weekly on Sunday. 

“While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another,” the statement read. “We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives."

Cena and Bella were most recently seen together at WrestleMania 34, a year after the WWE Superstar proposed on wrestling's grandest stage. The couple was set to be married May 5.
