Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Known as The Iconic Duo in NXT, Billie and Peyton debuted as the slightly altered The Iconics. They then verbally ran down Charlotte two nights after her historic win over Asuka at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans before attacking her.
The two Australians made their names on the independent circuit before signing with WWE in 2015. While never champions at the NXT level, they became beloved once they teamed together—thanks in large part to their Mean Girls persona.
There was some fear that the pair would be split up when Royce was part of the women's Battle Royal at WrestleMania while Kay was not.
It appears that was all to throw fans off the scent of their main roster debut.
