
Mets Fan Dyes Hair Blond After Noah Syndergaard's 10 Ks vs. Cardinals
One New York Mets fan is a man of his word after dyeing his hair blond in response to Noah Syndergaard's Opening Day outing.
Twitter user @fellashleep had promised he'd change his hair color if Syndergaard opened the 2018 season with at least 10 strikeouts against the St. Louis Cardinals. The flame-throwing right-hander allowed four earned runs on six hits and struck out exactly 10 batters.
The Twitter pledge hadn't gone unnoticed by Syndergaard:

The fan provided an update Saturday to assure Synergaard he upheld his part of the bargain:
Forcing a fan to dye his hair blond at least represents progress for the Mets. It's a wonder how Mets fans have any hair left after a stressful 2017 season in which Syndergaard missed most of the year due to a partially torn right lat muscle.
