O.J. Simpson Talks Ex-Wife Nicole, Ron Goldman Murders on Upcoming Fox Special
A teaser for the upcoming Fox special O.J. Simpson: The Lost Confession? shows the former NFL running back speaking in hypothetical terms about what may have led to the deaths of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.
TMZ Sports provided a clip Wednesday that shows Simpson recounting part of the book If I Did It during a 2006 interview with publisher Judith Regan. He reiterates a situation where the murderer's friend, who he calls "Charlie," mentions something is going on at Brown Simpson's house.
"It's gotta stop," he says about why the killer went to the home.

The special, which was originally shelved by Fox, is set to air Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
Matt Webb Mitovich of TVLine reported the reworked show, which is hosted by Soledad O'Brien and will feature "public service announcements on domestic violence awareness, as well as a panel of analysts who will assay the newsworthiness and provide context the never-before-seen interview," has received support from the families of both Brown Simpson and Goldman.
During the show, Simpson goes on to hypothetically explain how the murderer arrives to Brown Simpson's home and sees candles in the window before Goldman arrives, per TMZ Sports. He says the killer then "blacks out" and then comes back to his senses "covered in blood."
In 1995, he was acquitted of murder charges related to the 1994 deaths. Two years later, a Superior Court jury found him liable for Goldman's death and said he committed battery against Brown Simpson, leading to a $8.5 million judgment to Goldman's family in a civil case.
Simpson was released from prison in October after serving nine years for kidnapping and armed robbery related to a September 2007 dispute over memorabilia in a Las Vegas hotel.
