Detroit Lions: The NFL Laughingstock
For 10 years or so I have had the pleasure of watching this team....lose.
I am sick and tired of waking up each and every Sunday excited, and then have my heart torn out from me just five minutes into any given game.
The photo I chose was taken a few years back and the depressed looking fan holding the sign is actually a good friend of mine. I feel his pain.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
We had just traded away our so called franchise quarterback and were currently being beaten to smithereens in this game. Literally look at that picture and of the faces you can actually see, are any of them smiling? Do any of them look remotely interested in even being there? No to both questions.
The NFL is a league of so called pairity. Each team is supposed to be able to beat any team on any given sunday, right? Well yes and no.
Last year the Lions were trailing big to the Packers at Ford Field. Out of nowhere comes this talented, explosive team wearing Hawaii blue jerseys that come back and actually took the lead with less than a quarter left in the game.
Then came the drastic crash back to reality. Kitna threw two interceptions, one for a pick six. Within three minutes the Packers were comfortably ahead again.
Detroit has been a bad place to be in these last couple years. Much of the reason is the economic downturn completely ruining the job marketability of this great state. The Lions certainly do not make it any better for any real football fan whatsoever.
On the upturn I do honestly believe this team is on the rise and will be able to compete for at least a playoff spot in the next five to ten years. The new front office and plethora of young talent cannot hurt at all.
But who knows, Ive been on the earth for 22 years and haven't seen a championship, whats another 50 or so?
