Mexico City will host an NFL regular-season game for the third straight year when the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams play at Estadio Azteca in 2018.

The NFL tweeted out a preview video of the Chiefs-Rams matchup after commissioner Roger Goodell announced it during his annual State of the League address on Wednesday:

John Sutcliffe of ESPN Deportes, via USA Today's Cameron DaSilva, reported on Jan. 3 the Rams would give up a home game in Los Angeles to play in Mexico City.

The Rams have become a staple of the NFL's push to play games in international markets. They have played in London each of the past two seasons, including a 33-0 win over the Arizona Cardinals in 2017.

The Chiefs will be playing their first international game since a 45-10 win over the Detroit Lions in London in November 2015.

An official date for the Chiefs-Rams game will be determined when the NFL announces the full regular-season schedule. The past two games in Mexico City have been played in Week 11.
