J.T. Barrett used an autograph signing to make his opinion known on a polarizing play from 2016's classic between Ohio State and Michigan.

According to Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors, the Buckeyes quarterback inked his name 740 times during Sunday's four-hour autograph session. He got creative, inscribing, "It was a 1st Down Harbaugh" on one helmet.

On Nov. 26, 2016, Ohio State beat Michigan 30-27 in double overtime. The Wolverines thought they stuffed Barrett on a fourth-down run in the second overtime, but the ball was spotted for a first down.

Curtis Samuel scored a game-winning rushing touchdown on the next play.

Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh lambasted the "outrageous" officiating following the controversial finish, per the Detroit Free Press' Mark Snyder. He said Barrett was short of a first down and added that he was "bitterly disappointed" in the referees.

Nearly 14 months later, Barrett commemorated the moment that helped Ohio State into the College Football Playoff, in which it suffered a 31-0 loss to Deshaun Watson's Clemson Tigers.
