Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal Reportedly Set for £40M Leon Bailey Battle
Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey will reportedly be the subject of a three-way transfer tussle between Premier League giants Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
According to Adrian Kajumba in the Mirror, the three clubs have all watched the 20-year-old this season. While Leverkusen are determined to hold on to their £40 million-rated star in the current transfer window, they are prepared for summer advances from the Premier League trio.
Bailey is enjoying a breakout season in the Bundesliga.

He joined Leverkusen from Belgian outfit Genk last January but only played 133 minutes in the German top flight in 2016-17, scoring no goals and providing no assists. In 2017-18, though, he has made 14 appearances in the league and contributed six goals and four assists.
Along with Kevin Volland, Bailey has been Leverkusen's most potent attacking threat this season.
He can operate on either flank, boasts electric pace and has a number of tricks to bamboozle defenders, per Bayer:

Should he continue to perform to a high level for the remainder of 2017-18 it could be that not only United, Chelsea and Arsenal will move for Bailey in the summer.
That can only work in Leverkusen's favour. They will be loath to lose one of their star players, but the club could raise significant funds from Bailey's sale if he prompts a bidding war between European giants.
