Isaiah Thomas Scores 17 Points in Cavaliers Debut vs. Trail Blazers

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Isaiah Thomas made his debut for his new club in Tuesday's 127-110 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at Quicken Loans Arena. 

He didn't disappoint the home crowd. 

Thomas, who missed the first several months of the season because of a lingering hip injury, scored 17 points and shot 6-of-12 from the field in the double-digit win. He drained three of his eight three-point attempts and tallied three assists in 19 minutes of action. 

Earlier in the day, Thomas confirmed he won't play against the Boston Celtics, his former club, on Wednesday night.
