Kalisto's Wife Says WWE Star Was Assaulted, Needs Stitches and MRI

Kalisto required stitches and may have a potential fracture as a result of getting hit by a full water bottle during 205 Live on Tuesday night.

Kalisto's wife, Abigail Rodriguez, posted an update on his status Thursday night and shared a photo of his discolored upper lip:

Keith Burgdoff, who works as a parking coordinator for WWE, tweeted Wednesday that WWE security personnel had caught the fan who threw the bottle.

The incident occurred shortly after Kalisto teamed with Gran Metalik to earn a disqualification victory over Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher. Kalisto was laying outside the ring after a post-match attack by Kendrick and Gallagher when the bottle bounced off the floor and into his face.

At the very least, it would appear Kalisto will be out of action temporarily, and a facial fracture may even jeopardize his availability for the 2018 Royal Rumble on Jan. 28.
