Notable Storylines and Predictions for Week 15
AFC Championship Game Preview?

Based on their win-loss records, the Steelers and Patriots sit atop the AFC as the elite teams primed for a two-part competition that starts in Week 15 at Heinz Field.
At 9-4, the Jacksonville Jaguars, who beat the Seahawks in Week 14, will have something to say about dubbing the Patriots-Steelers matchup an AFC Championship Game preview. Nonetheless, this contest puts one team in the driver's seat for home-field advantage in the conference playoffs.
The Steelers come into this matchup riding an eight-game win streak and with positive momentum after winning three consecutive contests by a maximum of three points. The Patriots dropped a game to the Miami Dolphins without tight end Rob Gronkowski, who served a one-game suspension, and their top two pass-rushers in Trey Flowers and Kyle Van Noy.
The Patriots looked out of sync in that Monday Night Football matchup with the Dolphins, but it's not often you see New England put together two stinkers in consecutive games. With Gronkowski back on the field and quarterback Tom Brady itching to shake off a poor performance, Pittsburgh will fall short in Week 15.
Patriots 34, Steelers 31
Aaron Rodgers Returns to Save Green Bay Packers Season?

Once Rodgers announced he had received medical clearance to play, Packers fans rejoiced and had a late-season run for the postseason on their minds. However, it's not an easy road, and the 34-year-old signal-caller knows it. He made sure to temper expectations when addressing the media:
Rodgers says he's not returning to save this team, but there's no doubt the Packers have a much better chance of finishing 10-6 with him at less than 100 percent rather than a fully healthy Brett Hundley under center.
It's fitting Green Bay's first challenge with Rodgers goes through Bank of America Stadium. The Carolina Panthers hold one of the playoff spots Green Bay is aiming for. The NFC contender also fields the seventh-ranked pass defense.
For Rodgers, it's a tough opponent in his first game back from a significant injury, but he's also a quarterback who can avoid pressure and extend plays with his legs. Expect him to use his mobility to create magic against a stingy defense.

Los Angeles Rams Look to Even Season Series with Seattle Seahawks

In Week 5, the Seahawks traveled to beat an upstart Rams team 16-10. At that point, Los Angeles' offense looked promising. Two months later, the league's No. 2 scoring unit should look more impressive.
Seattle showed its grit as a home team against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13, but the Seahawks have lost games to the Washington Redskins and Atlanta Falcons at CenturyLink Field this year.
The Rams expect to have wideout Robert Woods on the field after two games out with a shoulder injury, per Orange County Register reporter Rich Hammond:
Los Angeles played a close game with Seattle at full strength early in the season. When considering the injuries in the Seahawks secondary and cornerback Byron Maxwell's struggles in coverage on the perimeter, the Rams have an opportunity to rack up points on the road.
With all his offensive weapons and 14 weeks in head coach Sean McVay's system, quarterback Jared Goff should have a better game en route to a win against the Seahawks in a crucial NFC West contest.
