Warriors GM Bob Myers went on 95.7 The Game in the Bay Area and said there is no plan to do an MRI or x-ray, Curry is considered day-to-day and is feeling "frustrated," per Anthony Slater of the Athletic. "Tweaked is probably the right word," Myers said.

Curry has established himself as one of the NBA's biggest weapons since the Warriors selected him with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 draft. He's been named the league's Most Valuable Player twice and helped lead the Dubs to a pair of championships, among numerous other accolades.

While the 29-year-old Ohio native has remained mostly durable in recent years, playing at least 78 games in each of the previous five seasons, he does have a history of ankle problems. Most recently, he was forced to the sideline for a couple weeks with a separate ankle sprain.

Veteran Shaun Livingston should once again slide into the starting lineup at point guard in Curry's absence. It will also create more playing time for Andre Iguodala, Patrick McCaw and Nick Young.

All told, most teams would be expected to suffer a massive drop-off every time they played without a player of Curry's caliber. The Warriors aren't most teams. They have enough star power to keep pace atop the Western Conference until he's cleared to return.
