Portland's CJ McCollum Blows Kisses to Magic's Evan Fournier After Altercation

Zac WassinkNov 15, 2017

Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum showed some love to Orlando Magic forward Evan Fournier in his own way late in the first half of Wednesday's game at Moda Center.

With under 30 seconds to play in the second quarter, McCollum forced a turnover when he knocked the ball off Fournier's knee and out of play.

McCollum pointed toward the opposite hoop to signal the change in possession, and Fournier responded by shoving the guard.

The two entered a war of words before having to be separated by the refs and players from both teams, but McCollum may have won the altercation by blowing a couple of kisses toward Fournier.

It's safe to assume these two won't be sending Christmas cards to each other.

Update: Per Colin Ward-Henninger of CBS Sports, McCollum explained what he said to Fournier during the latest edition of the Flagrant Two podcast.

"I just felt like he disrespected me by putting his hands on me," the 26-year-old stated. "Obviously, I'm not trying to get any fines or anything of that nature and I told him he was sweet. He's French, and I said that, 'you're sweet and soft like those crepes you eat.'"
