Kevin Durant Defends LaMelo Ball Being Gifted a Lamborghini by LaVar Ball

On Thursday, Big Baller Brand announced 16-year-old LaMelo Ball, the youngest brother of Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball, now has his own signature shoe. 

As Franklyn Calle of Slam Online explained, LaVar Ball, father to both players, gifted LaMelo a Lamborghini for his most recent birthday that occurred in August:

Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant gave a shoutout to the teenager on Thursday, tweeting out the following: "Young Melo with the Lambo. Stop playin wit shorty, he really out here." 

Some fans took exception to LaMelo driving a new Lambo, but the one-time NBA champion clapped back at such Twitter slander: 

It seems Durant is a big baller.
