The show kicked off with the Tag Team Championships match between The New Day and The Usos. Everyone knows how good these teams are, but you never know just how exciting a match is going to be until it happens.
Both teams pulled out all the stops to not only get things off to a great start, but they stole the show before anyone else had a chance to stop them.
Sean Ross Sapp and Pete Rosenberg singled out two specific moments for praise.
Referee Jimmy Korderas, who knows a thing or two about good matches, praised the performance of both teams.
Bleacher Report's own Eric Ball and Kevin Berge complimented Xavier Woods specifically.
Ryan Dilbert perfectly summed up how many fans feel about seeing The New Day regain the tag titles.
The Punjabi Prison Was Only Slightly More Preferable to an Actual Prison Sentence
The main event of the show saw the return of the Punjabi Prison match after a 10-year absence, and based on reactions from the WWE Universe, it won't be missed if it takes another 10 years to return.
Within minutes, the match had already drawn the ire of BR's Mike Chiari and Kevin Berge.
Even with the negative reactions, one spot stood out. One of the Singh brothers was knocked off the cage and crashed through one of the announce tables. Matt Camp captured footage of the fall while watching live in the arena.
The big reveal at the end of the match was the return of The Great Khali. The giant Superstar was never the most popular during his first WWE run, so he didn't get a warm welcome on Twitter.
However, Superstars like Oney Lorcan and Karl Anderson seemed happy to see Khali back in a WWE ring.
Finally, BR's Graham Matthews summed up what seemed to be shared feelings by most of the WWE Universe.
