Back inย mid-June, Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado completed his first career cycle with a walk-off home run versus the San Francisco Giants.ย
On Wednesday afternoon,ย Arenado made the San Diego Padres pay for pitching to him several times at Coors Field.ย
The 26-year-old already had a pair of RBI hits when he blasted a leadoff solo home run in the bottom of the fourth off San Diego starterย Clayton Richard:

Arenado was far from finished, though, something Padres relieverย Kevin Quackenbush discovered the hard way the following inning:ย
It appears Quackenbush learned little from that battle, as he elected to again challengeย Arenado in the bottom of the sixth:ย
Arenado began the bottom of the seventh inning with five hits in five plate appearances, three home runs and seven RBI.
