WWE's Sami Zayn Launches #SamiForSyria Fundraiser for Syrian War Victims

WWE wrestler Sami Zayn announced on Wednesday he is launching a fundraising effort to help those affected by the Syrian Civil War. 

According to Connor Casey of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Zayn—whose parents are Syrian immigrants—explained in a video posted on YouTube that he is working with the Syrian American Medical Society Foundation to raise money for a mobile medical unit. 

The SAMS Foundation also stated donations are needed to "help fund the salaries of medical personnel, a driver, medications, supplies, vehicle fuel and maintenance."
