Predicting Kurt Angle's Love Interest Ahead of Reveal on WWE Raw

Kurt Angle's return to WWE is about to step up a notch next week.

Fans remain hopeful that the Hall of Famer is set for an in-ring return at some point, and what happens on next Monday's edition of Raw could confirm whether that is set to be the case.

Angle has been part of a mysterious storyline with Corey Graves for a number of weeks now, and in the closing stages of this week's Raw, he revealed that he would tell the world the apparent secret he has been trying to hide for some time.

Furthermore, Angle telling the mystery caller on the phone that he loved them set tongues wagging about who his love interest could be.

From familiar faces of the past to new arrivals in WWE, here's a look at some options for the identity of the mystery person.

Vickie Guerrero

Sure, it's a long shot. But WWE isn't adverse to the odd swerve here and there.

Finding a way to fit Vickie Guerrero back into weekly programming may be difficult, but if WWE is looking for a familiar face to be Angle's love interest, then perhaps it could be Vickie all along.

She appeared on TV last year around the time of the brand split, but hasn't been a regular fixture on WWE programming for some time now.

So perhaps officials think the time is right to bring her back? 

It's unlikely, but stranger things have certainly happened. 

Stephanie McMahon

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t WrestlingInc's Marc Middleton) last month, plans are afoot for Angle to take on Triple H in a match.

With SummerSlam just around the corner on August 20, is this how WWE has been slowly setting it up all along? By having Stephanie McMahon appear with Angle?

It would certainly light the touch paper for a feud between Angle and HHH if the current Raw GM teamed up with Stephanie.

The only issue here? It would certainly blur the lines between reality and kayfabe, given the whole world is aware HHH and Stephanie are a real-life couple.

But if we're going down the route of Angle-HHH at SummerSlam, there would be worse ways to start it up.

Dixie Carter

Fans who have tuned into the WWE Network special featuring Kurt Angle already this week will have seen something that certainly came as a surprise.

And perhaps the appearance of Dixie Carter on WWE programming could be setting things up for her to appear on Raw next Monday as Angle's mystery love interest?

It would be a move completely out of left field, that is for sure, given Carter's long-standing allegiances with Total Nonstop Action.

But now she's been on the WWE Network, it certainly doesn't feel as unusual and strange a move as it would have been in the past.

Of all the options right now, Dixie seems like the favorite.
