Kurt Angle Announced as WWE 2K18 Pre-Order Bonus

It was announced by 2K Games on Tuesday that WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will be a pre-order bonus character in the WWE 2K18 video game.

The news became official with the following video on the WWE 2K18 Twitter account:

WWE's latest video game features Seth Rollins on the cover, and it is set to be released October 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

The trailer featuring Angle is in response to the official game trailer, which depicts Rollins destroying and setting fire to memorabilia belonging to many of the biggest legends in WWE history:

Being part of WWE 2K18 is the latest milestone in Angle's WWE return, which began when he was announced as part of the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class leading up to WrestleMania 33.

Since then, Angle has been given an on-screen role as Raw's general manager.

After leaving WWE in 2006, Angle joined TNA and spent nearly a decade with the company, but he is back with the promotion that gave him his big break in the business.

WWE 2K18 will mark Angle's first appearance in a WWE video game since WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 hit the shelves in 2006.
