Other Great Balls of Fire Thoughts

The reactions to the Great Balls of Fire name haven't been great on social media, but the quality of the performances matters much more than the event's title.

Management has done a good job building up each feud over the past several weeks, especially when it comes to the main event.

Samoa Joe has been established as one of the few legitimate threats to Lesnar's title reign, and if WWE was smart, it would recognize the positives of having Joe defeat The Beast far outweigh the negatives. 

While not having the Universal Championship on Raw every week has allowed the other champions to get more attention, it has also devalued the title.

As far as pure emotion is concerned, Enzo and Cass' storyline has been one of the most interesting. Big Cass being the one behind the sneak attacks was obvious long before it was revealed, but the fallout from his actions has been a pleasant surprise.

The usually boisterous Enzo has shown more depth in the past couple of weeks than many thought possible. He has connected with the audience on a new level, and it has made him into someone people can relate to.

Every other storyline has been given the proper amount of attention to make them interesting, so despite the unpopular name, Great Balls of Fire might just end up being an event people will remember fondly.
