Draymond Green Says 'Drake Talking About Fashion Does Not Work'
Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green and rapper Drake have been in a social media war of memes for quite some time.
So when the Defensive Player of the Year showed up at Monday's inaugural NBA Awards red carpet donning a teal jacket, shorts and slip-on shoes, some ridicule was bound to happen.
Drake did make a monologue joke at Green's expense while hosting the gig, but it was Green who brought up fashion.
On Wednesday, per the San Jose Mercury News' Anthony Slater, Green defended his fashion choices by questioning Drake's style.
"Drake talking about fashion does not work. It just doesn't work. … If Drake thinks it's good, then I'm wrong. I can't wear anything that he thinks is OK. I'm perfect with him not understanding. I don't expect him to understand it. It's fine. … If he approves, you're all wrong—all the way wrong."
The two have feuded on social media before, so the roasting has likely just begun.
