David Ortiz Throws Wide First Pitch for Jersey Retirement Ceremony

David Ortiz's pitching skills appeared to be just a bit rusty during his jersey retirement ceremony.  

The retired Red Sox hitter was back at Fenway Park on Friday to officially retire his No. 34 jersey. As the honored guest of the evening, he got to throw the first pitch. 

His toss went just a bit left of home plate. Ortiz kept a sense of humor about the situation and laughed it all off. 

Maybe a "first swing" would have worked better for him.
