Barcelona Transfer News: Andre Gomes, Arda Turan Sales Reportedly Discussed
Barcelona have reportedly held a meeting with agent Jorge Mendes to discuss the potential sales of Andre Gomes and Arda Turan.
Per Mundo Deportivo (via Football Espana), new coach Ernesto Valverde has instructed the club to offload Arda, who has been linked with moves to China and Turkey as well as Portuguese side Sporting.
The club are also willing to listen to offers for Andre Gomes, with Manchester United and Juventus both reportedly interested.

Arda's future at the club certainly seems unclear at the moment. Per Esports COPE (via AS), his agent Ahmet Bulut has recently insisted he is happy and expecting to continue at Camp Nou next season.
However, speculation persists, with Jamie Gordon at The Sun reporting Arsenal have offered Barcelona £30 million for the 30-year-old.
Gomes, meanwhile, was only signed from Valencia last summer for €35 million, but he has failed to have the anticipated impact at Barcelona.

The midfielder made only 17 Liga starts, managing three goals and a solitary assist, per WhoScored.com, which has led to speculation he could depart.
Per the report, Barcelona also discussed potential new signings with Mendes, including Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo, Benfica central defender Nelson Semedo and Monaco's Fabinho.
Ernesto Valverde's side looked vulnerable defensively last season, and ESPN FC's Samuel Marsden believes the club need to bring in a right-back and a central defender:
According to Sport, the club must also sell before they can buy, which could see Arda and Gomes depart, in order to help fund moves for Marco Verratti and Hector Bellerin.
