Eagles Celebrate Darren Sproles' Birthday with Pop Warner Highlights
Andrew GouldJun 9, 2018
Darren Sproles turned 34 on Tuesday, an archaic age for an NFL running back. The Philadelphia Eagles used the special occasion to show how long he has bewildered opposing defenders.
The Eagles honored his birthday by posting a Pop Warner highlight reel on their social media channels. Before he was the shortest player on the field, Sproles exuded superb elusiveness to leave young defenders in his dust.
Sproles enters his 13th year as the NFL's active leader in career all-purpose yards. The three-time Pro Bowler showed plenty of mileage last year, averaging 4.7 yards per carry and reeling in 52 receptions.
