The former Chelsea man has been a revelation since joining the Giallorossi and contributed an impressive 15 goals and 11 assists in Serie A from a wide role last season.
Blessed with outstanding pace, trickery and vision, he formed a spectacular one-two punch with Stephan El Shaarawy. Here's a look at some of his highlights:
Premier League fans may best remember Salah for his failed stint with the Blues, but the winger was never given an extended run at Stamford Bridge. Given his fine showings for Roma and previous club Basel, it's safe to assume the 25-year-old has what it takes to shine at Liverpool as well.
The Reds already boast plenty of raw athleticism in their squad, and a pairing of Sadio Mane and Salah out wide, with the likes of Divock Origi up front, could give every defence in England fits. For the reported fee of just under £40 million, it's a fine piece of business for Liverpool.
Salah has done most of his damage coming off the right wing in the last two seasons, so manager Jurgen Klopp will have to decide whether Salah or Mane will switch positions. Both have experience on their side and the upside to continue improving, so a transition should be relatively safe.
