Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Gareth Bale and Alvaro Morata
Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale is set to spurn the advances of Manchester United, but Alvaro Morata could be on the verge of sealing a move to Old Trafford.
According to Jack Gaughan for MailOnline, the Wales international wishes to remain with the UEFA Champions League holders after an injury-hit campaign in the Spanish capital. United have once again relit their interest in the player as they plan for manager Jose Mourinho's second season at the Theatre of Dreams.

"Gareth Bale is not agitating for a move away from Real Madrid and is concentrating on banishing his injury woes. The 27-year-old's season was blighted by a three-month absence with a damaged ankle and questions as to whether Real would cash in this summer. Bale, though, has no intention of departing the Bernabeu despite suggestions Manchester United's interest has again been piqued."
The 27-year-old was restricted to 24 starts in La Liga and Europe last term, scoring just nine goals, according to WhoScored.com.

However, it appears Morata will soon depart Los Blancos after an agreement was reached with the Red Devils.
Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio (h/t Andrew Richardson of The Sun) reported the striker has decided to move to Manchester, leaving United to negotiate over a £70 million price tag.
Italian outlet Calciomercato.com (h/t ESPN FC) reported the Spain international's representative commented on the potential deal for his client.
Agent Juanma Lopez said: "They [United] are a club with great glamour, a very interesting option. I can say that their proposal is a very, very important one and now the decision rests with Real."
Here is Morata in action:
Per Richardson, the sale of Morata could trigger a bid for Monaco sensation Kylian Mbappe.
Morata returned to Real after a successful spell with Italian champions Juventus, but it always appeared he would eventually be sold for profit.
The striker has never been first choice for the La Liga winners but was an excellent option from the bench for coach Zinedine Zidane.
Mbappe seems destined to be a future Galactico, and he would be an ample replacement if Morata switches to the Premier League.
